Unless your opponent is Godawful, then Talonflame isn't going to take down an entire team. If you are fighting someone that bad, then Moltres even without Gale Wings could sweep that team (and probably has an easier time too) On top of this, Flare Blitz isn't spammable in the first place, especially not on Talonflame. If all you did was spam BB or FB all game, Talonflame would be died and barely do any damage to well built teams.
Secondly, they are still comparable moves. I know that you go to special education, so let me explain how they are comparable.
Take for instance Wild Charge and Thunderbolt. While they are different moves with their own benefits and drawbacks that make them different, they are still comparable because both moves have the same purpose and have many similarities. They both are given to attackers of their respective Physicsl/Special kind, typically used as coverage or STAB against things weak to Electric.
Then let's say we have Nuzzle vs Thunderbolt now. These 2 moves are not comparable because Nuzzle is used to Paralyze Foes without the fear of being taunted, while Thunderbolt still has its original purpose of being a good offensive attack.
