>>29639165I think it just overcomplicates the design of infernape, it doesn't need more fire or more jewelry, it doesn't need to have accessories on the back or betray it's original color scheme.
Simple head and shoulder ornaments or a bit of focus on the knees and tail would have worked better.
It's not offensive, it's just all over the place and reminds me of why people often hate mega Luke, houndoom and normal Rhyperior as concepts for taking a step further on the design.
