Even if that isn't Lillie, I get the feeling it still spoils that MC, Lillie and Gladion team-up. The dialogue doesn't hint that they're fighting against Gladion.

DOubt it. It'd be cool but Gladion's arms and legs are a bit thicker than Lillie's so it isn't too likely. Also what would Lillie do with her hair when disguised to make it look so short?
