Wicke is literally a letter shy of Wicked. I know she's named after a flower or plant or whatever like the rest of the important characters, and a similar theme likely doesn't exist for the rest of Aether's named characters, but for whatever reason that bit of info just sticks out to me.

I don't know, maybe if she really "is" UB-01 and she wants to prevent Aether Fundation to awake Cosmog and evolve into either Solgaleo or Lunala. (We can assume that by the leaked dex showing that could be Cosmog evolvibg into a cocoon that then evolves into Box Legends.)

I now its weird but this is I can think until November 18th.

I think it was interesting on how the leaker who revealed Ultra Beasts and the boxart legend's prevo said that Lillie would apparently merge with the UBs at the end of the game.

Maybe she has to sacrifice herself to calm them down? If so, then she was probably the one who accidentally opened the door to their universe in the first place.

What if we're thinking about the Ultra Beasts all wrong? Professor Burnett is apparently studying then in the game, and we know from BW2 that her research deal with the Dream Radar.

What if the Ultra Beasts are the creation of Cosmog's imagination, and each one of them represents its perception of a different character, only twisted into a monster form.

Calling it now that the Aether Foundation is doing DNA splicing and genetic genetic manipulation on various pokemon and making them "pure" thus they have created the UB from the research from the old pokemon mansion before it was destroyed by Mewtwo then by the volcano. before you call bullshit just think for a moment why is there more Gen1 aka Kanto pokemon in the Alola region surely its pretty close to there and maybe the people who survived Mewtwos rampage moved to Alola region to hide/start anew thus founded the foundation to "help" pokemon.
