The player receives porygon as their starter. Treecko, chimchar, and piplup will most likely be safari zone exclusive and right now I'm thinking that bulbasaur will be an early gift mon. The dex order isn't too set right now but I'd like to keep the very beginning and end as is.

The dex doesn't have a theme as of now but I wanted to incorporate an even, multi-gen mix of both literallywhos who may need a stat/movepool buff and well-liked mons. I'll probably change some things as my hack progresses, though.

FUCK GB Sounds. I regularly bitch about how it replaces the wave channel with a third pulse channel, fucking up songs that heavily take advantage of said channel like the Surf theme, but this is the first time I ran into one of the new songs' GB Sounds compositions being designed around three pulse channels. Trying to get it working into the wave channel was messier than I would have thought, I was almost tempted to just devamp the original version instead of basing it on GB Sounds.
Also posting this, I did it a while ago but there wasn't an /heg/ up when I finished.

Who keeps grabbing an outdated version of the OP? I see it all the time. I thought our pastebin was last edited in October 2014 (because I'm a lazy bastard who won't update it).

Actually, I think we should try to just redo the hack pastebin from scratch, since there are probably some hacks that were considered alright in an older version of the pastebin but have become far surpassed by 2016. We should have anons play through the hacks in the current pastebin and say whether they're still good.
