It's trainer was friendly and shit to it (remember going for an Umbreon here) and then when it finally evolves , something it rightfully would believe would please its' trainer and best friend, it gets yelled at and ridiculed.
Humans have a tough time leaving their abusers even a while after realizing it. This image is the EXACT moment that this trainer flipped his autistic shit and it was like a switch. No build up. Just "You're the best!" to "WHAT THE FUCK?"
Aside from that
