I'm not sure if this was explained or not by the devs, but isn't it cool that they took primal reversion from a mystery dungeon game?

I'm scared that I'm wrong about this and primals didn't come from pmd

Primal Dialga is actually just "Dark Dialga", but it would've been confusing for Americans because in Japan Dark-type=Evil-type, and this Dialga is not Dark-type, just Dialga in the world of darkness.

PMD is its own separate canon even though it is based on the main games.

the real reason for it is that there is no jade orb and if they did give it a maga stone that would pretty much be the jade or justify the creation of a jade orb in the story so they just decided to make so it fug didnt have to hold anything and only needed an attack to mega evolve
