Pokemon shouldn't need to have certain types to be resistant to certain things. Maybe they could have certain pokemon be in different categories like 'Winged', 'Floating', and 'Standing'. Take Volcarona, for example. Volcarona are always flying in the air, yet they get murdered by stealth rock. And yes I'm mad because of that very reason.
