The proportions are a bit off, but you said you didn't trace it, so I assume you didn't look at an actual picture either.
Always put the eyes near the center line of the head shape. Those eyes are a bit high.
One arm is much larger than the other.
Finally, when shading with pencil, shade your drawing strokes in the same direction as the 3D shape of the figure. For example, it's head is spherical-ish, so instead of sketching the lines all over the place like that, draw them along the shape of the sphere for every stroke. If you're having a hard time deciding what direction that is, imagine taking a drop of water and placing it on the top of the head. The direction the water slides down the face is the direction you should draw the lines.
