I have an odd story for you /vp/

>back in something like 3rd or 4th grade I think
>kid says his dad works with nitnendo
>cool
>I dont really know anything about nintendo then
>kid hands me a floppy disk
>says it has Pokemon Silver on it
>okcool.jpg
>Pop it in when I get home
>comes up and it's actually the game
>but it has like a hexcode thing at the bottom

I have no idea what happened to it. I asked my dad about this in case I dreamnt it up er something and he says "No it was real, you had it from some friend at school. I remember you played it" It also had the first town, I walked in the grass and the first new Pokemon was a Hoot Hoot. all in English too

Has any one had anything like this happen to them?
