Now I know you're retarded but it's not the fact that patches exist by the fact that these developers are using it to release games in a broken or generally unfinished state just because they can fix it later. Not to mention that they're extremely unoptimized which is why patches and games are reaching absurd sizes not indicative of their content.
Realistically patches should only be used for new content and the few minor glitches they may have missed not major bugs that are near impossible to miss.
Oh and speaking of PC did you forget how rockstar released it like, what, a year later at full price?
