To make an account, type your desired name in the 'name' field, and type 'signup' in the 'options' field. In the text field, put your email address in the first line and your desired password in the second line. Confirm the captcha and hit post. You'll be automatically signed in after that, and your mailbox will be accessible on the toolbar at the top of the page.
To sign back in after that, just type those things in again, but with 'login' instead of 'signup'.
4chan's signup process is super weird because it's old and uses a mixed-up API, but I promise it works.
