I'm just saying that there are options that aren't too difficult.
Plus, to get someone's ID they would need to find where it came from, ID it as the specific university, ask for logs, hope that security footage can ID someone. There are ways of doing it.
If it were me, I'd log in to my student account on a friend's laptop, go home and do something to ensure I have an alibi, get them to upload it, then if asked about it claim my password as stolen and use some other logs as proof (e.g. pay for something somewhere far from uni with a card).
