It was a weird realization. No one ever gives me odd looks or says shit to me when I'm buying toys or kids games. I've had a cashier ask about m kids before even recently when I bought a bunch of Yokai Watch figures. I just said 'Yeah, this is what they're into now a days' and laughed it off.

I feel sorry for teenagers who are into 'kids' stuff because you're going to get judge from both ends.

In college almost no one gave a shit if I was playing Pokemon or not. I even met some friends.

There was only one 9/10 girl that said she hates everything related to Pokemon, but doesn't matter, she at least was kind to me.

And "home" for myself and others is the middle of bumfuck nowhere surrounded by dairy farms, not even a more populated and diverse metropolitan area with a younger population. You don't need to have some sort of autistic pity party to try and validate your interests; most people either like the same shit you like, or just don't have much of an opinion to begin with.
