I don't know why fans place so much hype on the starters. They're basically treat like every other Pokemon, except you just so happen to get them first.

Does anyone really care for past starters despite the really fucking popular ones like Charizard and Greninja? I don't see people jacking off to Empoleon or Sceptile much.

Stop placing so much fucking hype on them. They'll be forgotten when next gen comes along. They always are.
