1. Better stop playing if you dont like grinding.
2. Get used to grinding a lot.
3. Grind coins on regular Meowth (stage 37). Watch some youtube videos to know how to do it.
4. Grind EXP on Ampharos (stage 130).
5. It's better to grind coins for items in order to beat a stage instead of grinding EXP.
6. Nontheless, its quite easy to get a mon to level 5 (needs only like 8-10 hearts). After that its only if you reached end game or for competitions.
7. Get to M-Mewtwo asap. Don't bother catching the shitmons inbetween or s-ranking shit.
8. Get Lucario and Absol asap (EX Stage 2) and their mega stone (Mission card 2 and 10). You want to do this before fighting M-Mawile and M-Gengar respectively..
9. Get Gengar asap. Yes, its catch rate sucks. Get used to low catch rates and bullshit stages.
10. Events are nice to early get strong mons. For example the likes of Landorus-T, Reshiram, Zekrom, Shaymin are essential to beat itemless bullshit stages.
11. Once you hit Roseus Center the real "fun" of the game begins. Its the most bullshit area so far in the game.
12. Do not waste jewels on anything but to unlock 3 additional runs for Sunday Meowth
13. Only use M-Mewtwo Y with 3 mega boosters for this Meowth. Buy additional +5 turns. But no Mega start. Use Gengar + whatever you have with the ability "Quirky" while you get Mewtwo.
14. Give your first Mega Speed Up to Gengar. This will reduce the neccessary matches from 4 to 3 turns (3match, 3match, 4match instead of 4 3matches or something similar)
15. When there is a 3-mon stage use Gengar. No exceptions. Even if its NVE.
