Super Training is gone? It definitely had its uses for getting specific EV's. Please no, if that is true that's a step back from Gen 6

It wasn't garbage. Anyway it gave your pokemon less exp for defeating a pokemon at a lower level. This prevented over-levelling of Pokémon and steamrolling the game. If anything it only sucked in gen 5 because everything evolved at the highest levels ever.
