Pokemon Sun and Moon is fucking worse than X and Y with the amount of handholdy dialogue. Holy fucking shit the sheer amount I've been stopped by an NPC makes me want to just fuckin drop this game and I'm only 3 hours in.
Anyone else fed up with this?

I don't mind dialogue-heavy cutscenes in RPGs as long as they're spaced out a bit. With Golden Sun, it was LITERALLY EVERY TEN SECONDS.

SM is really giving me a bad first impression.

They even got super lazy with overworld animations - you get a fade to black just to go through a gate, and when an NPC roadblock makes you go the other way, the game fades to black to teleport you a few feet back.

Just got past Trainer School, hopefully the handholding fucking stops

This is extremely depressing to hear. I really thought they would have fixed this.

I've played demos before where the framerate and controls felt off but the final game was perfect. The first that comes to my was the first Spyro the Dragon game back on the Playstation. The demo felt like there was half second input delay along with weird physics glitches but the finished game was fantastic. I was REALLY hoping SM would be the same...

I'm so disappointed right now
