I'm thinking that if I just pad with a leading zero, the game will recognize my older mons as mine, but PKHex still only has a 5 digit field. I looked through the source and there is a check that it does to use G7TID instead of TID if the origin game Gen is >6, but that doesn't seem to do anything GUI-wise

If you are like me, one that spent 600+ hours in every pkmn game for good pokemon, here what I did today for the first time.

Take your fresh .cia from lurantis.

Use a save editor (search for JKSM and use the installable .cia version)

Make a backup of the game save

edit the save with pkhex

reimport save with the save editor.

done! If you are a noob don't change things that doesn't concern you. I've maxed IVs and Evs and i'm happy with that.

Yeah, that's correct. My 3ds is a emuNAND/sysNAND dual boot.

I didn't know this was so outdated. I just installed it last year to play FE and never bothered to update it again

it is pretty fucking good, 100% bootrate, only 1 nand (so no more dual booting). you can always stay on the most up to date firmware while also installing all games etc directly onto sysnand.

Skipped the middle man and just set the Pokedex as being complete to see if that would work, it killed my Pokedex and random ones are seen and caught but not all.
