>>29789990It's a real shame really, I liked them a lot. It was less aggressive than singles/doubles and rewarded planning things with allowing pretty cool combos and setups. I played the hell out of gen6 because of the battle maison allowing unlimited triple battles. In fact, it was the generation I played the most because of it.
Now that triples get removed it's gonna feel kinda limited, I hope they come back next console. Doubles is still better than singles, but you have to play much more aggressively in comparison to triples. Support roles will be almost entirely gone without it.
To me this is perhaps the biggest disappointment of this game. Teaming up with Lana or such in Multi might make it a bit better, but it's looking grim unless someone can confirm their availability for good.
