Seriously, why would you ever want to play without Sleep Clause or Evasion Clause? These are just simple quality of life things that make the game bearable. You can argue the merit of banning this Pokemon or that, and of course RNG is huge in Pokemon, but the most basic restrictions like that need to be there for the game to be anything but a complete coinflip shitfest.
Not to mention the fact that Game Freak is, at best, awful at balance, and at worst doesn't care at all. So any metagame that at least attempts to balance things is immediately better.
