It was okay.
The trials were pretty boring though and I preferred gym leaders to them.
The story and overall pacing felt very rushed.
I didn't like how Kukui was the champion, it was very bland and predictable. I would have preferred Alolan Oak
I really didn't like how linear it was, while I know Pokemon isn't really known for being overly non-linear every island came down to

The frame rate was shittier than gen 6
The only positives I can say is
waifus everywhere
Nice music
I liked a lot of the new Pokemon
