In most pokemon Game, you always do the same thing, and the post game don't really exist, it's more like whatever is tailored to your taste, some people like training their mons, other focus on mini game side activity, other filling the dex ect....
The true post game of pokemon is that it's a social experience, you share you mon, your story and battle people, end of the story.
Nobody care about the battle frontier that much stop with this meme.
