Will Solgaleo be OU? Metagross has arguably a better move pool too except no recovery.

Metagross is restricted by a Mega Stone while Solgaleo is not. Solgaleo has decent stats across the board, meaning it could run a couple of different sets. I'm not expert when it comes to competitive, but I'm pretty sure that Solgaleo is still too good for the OU meta, same with Lunala. I'd rather wait and see what people can pull off with it.

Why? Simply being a cover legend doesn't automatically make you Ubers.
The only advantage it might have over Mega Metagross is it being capable of running a special set and being able to use Thunder Wave.

Metagross doesn't have Solgaleo's coverage or its decent speed turn 1. All the HP Solgaleo has also makes it bulkier than Metagross.
