Blame Japan. They have a much, much bigger stigma against tattoos than we have in the west. Even hoodlums will usually just paint them on because they don't want to be permanently mistaken for a yakuza.

Like has been said, she just removes it after she reforms because it was the Team Skull logo.

When you fight Guzma and Plumeria post-game, their titles aren't "Team Skull Boss Guzma" or "Team Skull Admin Plumeria" anymore, they're just "Pokemon Trainer Guzma" and "Pokemon Trainer Plumeria".

i was just making the assumption it was censored in the west only (especially because of the puritan ameericans)
now it could have been censored in japan also, but on thing is for sure, her tattoos are gone from the start and unless they come back more than 10 hours after the post game, they're gone for good

Skull were never really "evil" to begin with.

Guzma was just following Lusamine because she's the only adult who ever gave him any respect, and the rest were just in it because their loyalty to their boy.

It's probably just fake tatoos to be edgy, like >>29809242 said. Tattoos are still frowned upon in Japan to this day, several places forbid your entrance if you have any kind of tattoo showing.
