My headcanon is that the special bond is necessary to prevent the Megas from turning around and straight up killing their trainers, as is the case in M-Salamence's entry.

I don't know. Seems like it'd be as simple as reading the regional dex entries like Kaphotics did. I think the main problem is that the hackers who know what to do to access them just don't have interest in it

No idea.

It's possible that only the Pokemon that can be obtained normally in SM were given updated Dex entries. So for Pokemon that need to be injected in, there's nothing new.

Still not sure why the National Dex entries can't be found, though.

I can't find any dex entry from a Pokemon that's not in the regional dex (like, for exemple, Bulbasaur).

This is how Mega Evolution worked in the anime. Pokémon take a while to get used to their new-found power and if the bond with the trainers isn't strong enough they will rampage wildly

Look at the poekmons who got megas, mostly the kind of crap that young boys think is "OMG so epic xDDDD" and look at the design of most megas, it makes them look even more "epic" to these same people.

The dex entries are just an extension of that. Young kids will read this and eat it up, they'll think it's the most bad ass shit ever.

That's what this is about, nothing is being "shamed"

There's a fine line between something being "badass" and something being sort of morbid. References to Mega evolving causing these mons pain as well as driving them insane are what cross that line.

Not allowed to use say Beedrill and Mega Beedrill on the same team.
As long as they are considered one by the pokémon clause I consider them one.

Also every forme has their own dex entry, not just megas.
