So since Type: Null/Silvally ended up being pretty inconsequential and isn't even obtainable until post-game, Lycanroc is back to being the "Lucario" of the gen, right?

Kukui has a Rockruff, the Rock E4 member uses Midnight Lycanroc, and the "Champion" uses Midday Lycanroc

Lucario, while not postgame, was still extremely out of the way in Gen 4. You had to hatch a Riolu from an egg, given to you at an optional island, and was only available past the game's halfway point.

Silvally can still be a "lucario" if it's popular enough.
