You can get it in-game around the time of the Ghost trial, since an NPC will trade you his Graveler for a Haunter, which you can catch at the Ghost trial site.

Veler is the nickname. If I'm not mistaken, every in-game trade in all the mainline games comes with a nickname.

Better than regular golem. Galvanize explosion is gonna hit hard, give him a normal z crystal too then you get galvanize breakneck blitz.

That's basically his gimmick, it's like he gets to explode twice basically for ridiculous damage.

Custap berry is much better. Just take the hit, set up stealth rocks and Allah ackbar on the next turn. That's all Golem is good for. I'm glad gamefreak gave him the look just to fuck with us too.
