>>29822734Yeah, and it was fun as fuck. Loved how you could actually set up combos with "support roles" being more viable, whereas in doubles it's much more aggressive and to the point. Stuff like long-range attacks and taking reach into account to switch and dodge was really fun in triples. But yeah with the current engine being so heavy on the 3ds, it's definitely not gonna be an option unless they optimize the hell out of it.
Let's hope it's resurrected when it's the turn of the next console, Switch or whatever.
>>29822833I admit I didn't play much rotation but I liked it more than singles. In fact, hell, I don't really like singles at all. Feels so simple in comparison. Just predict/attack/stall and that's about it. While not necessarily shallow, it's very limiting considering what a lot of pokemon can do in doubles/triples with their support moves.
