>>29836803I don't actually think it actually does outclass Decidueye. Bulkier with better Attack, but its movepool isn't as good or varied as the owl. Speed can also be helpful, even if its not by much. Decidueye has reliable recovery, Baton Pass, good boosting moves, Defog, and some decent coverage if it decides to go more offensive. I see it functioning as a trapping boost passer, wallbreaker, or counter for specific Pokemon who are slower and at a type disadvantage. Neither is going to be a top-tier threat, but I think versatility gives the edge to Decidueye, however barely.
