It's pretty good. Ok attack and speed, good defenses, bad hp and special attack.

Disguise lets you get a free Sworfs Dance off. It also gets Leech Life (buffed to 80 BP), Shadow Sneak, Play Rough, Wood Hammer, and Shadow Claw.

the only thing that's ever eluded me is the fucking Mizutsune Claws. I got like 3 Plates before I got one drop of claws.

Nah mimimyu seems like more of the exception, maybe with the fairy type. It seems to genuinely just seek companionship from people and other pokemon. Oh course being a lovecraftian horror wearing a shitty halloween costume makes that difficult. Even then not every ghost types are evil or mean spirited, golurks were said to have acted as protectors.

Pokedex entries like that probably only apply to strangers the pokemon don't know/trust.

So they can shove more gen 1 filler up your ass. Literally 2/3rds of the pokemon I wanted on my team are found on on island 3 and 4 and one is a exclusive to the other version at that. I'm on 11.1 and can't even use pkhex to get them. Guess /wfg/ is the way to go.

They're on a completely different tone as compared to the rest of the game. If Ghost type pokemon truly were sociopaths like their Pokedex entry stuff like Pokemon Amie wouldn't affect the way they behave nor would NPCs that check for friendship levels congratulate you for taking care of them, for example.
