I didn't think it was possible but they actually managed to make a worse game that has even less of a postgame than XY. Will we ever get a good Pokémon game again?

At least XY had the National Dex to capture Pokémon from outside the region in the postgame. In SM you can only use Pokémon from Alola.

you can also catch national dex pokemon using the QR Code system, scan 10 and a national dex pokemon will spawn. Of note I know the Johto stage 1 and Unova stage 3 are examples of this.
