Light Clay does boost the duration of Aurora Veil

Also, Aurora Veil can be stacked with Light Screen and Reflect

Wait wait wait, if I remember correctly light screen/ reflect halves all of their respective damage type. So by 'stacks with aura veil' do you mean lasts even longer or blocks 100% damage? (75% if it's going off of 'blocks half of current damage recieved in seperate instances')

Alolan Ninetales is the best setter of Aurora Veil since it's the only Pokemon that learns it that has Snow Warning. It can set it up instantly.

Basically, for a hail team, you'd use it to set up Aurora Veil, Slush Rush Alolan Sandslash as a Rapid Spinner, and Slush Rush Beartic as a sweeper.

Dedicated Hail teams won't be seeing use even with this. A-Sandslash and Beartic are still subpar Pokemon Slush Rush or not.

Alola Ninetales will be added to random teams for the sheer utility it brings with this just like how TTar is not used exclusively for dedicated Sand teams. With Hail just lasting 5 turns the residual damage on your team is completely negligible.

You'll be seeing A-Ninetales more on normal teams than on dedicated Hail teams. This is for certain, dedicated hail is a rarity even on doubles where it's much more viable.

That's not how stats work.
A fully speed invested Beartic in Hail would only be outsped by fully invested pokemon with base 150+ speed (barring their own buffs)

Beartic with Jolly Nature and maximum Speed IVs and EVs has 218 Speed. Slush Rush doubles that to 436, so yes, Beartic will be outspeeding a lot.

They should have made it so that only Ice types get the full effects and non-ice only get a 1.2 defensive boost or something. This thing ends up benefiting non-hail teams more than hail teams.
