Rogenrolla is clearly a geodude analog based on how it evolved, its typing, and where it's found. Same with the bats , the drills, audino, and the trash. Foongus and Amoongus play a similar deceptive role as Electrode.
Basculin is a one stage fish, something that is completely lacking in gen 1. The analog for Magikarp in pokemon is Feebas and Wimpod to an extent. Having been done clearly and obviously with Feebas should be an indicator that they weren't doing it again with another pokemon in a lesser way. Add in that Basculin looks more like Carvanha and has its own gimmick and you're just dead wrong.
As for Heatmor, being a one stage fire mon just isn't enough to make a solid case. If it had a matching mon like Electabuzz, a baby form, or a weird design that made it at all similar, then you'd have an argument, but it's a fucking anteater that's made specifically as a predator to Durant. The closest analog would be Seviper and Zangoose, but instead of enemies a prey/predator relationship.
The beheeyem comparison is just superficial.
As for the liepard line, I don't think it can be seen as a direct gen 1 rehash when every generation but 2 and 7 have a 2 stage catmon. Which is to say it was the third in a row with one and Purrloin doesn't at all resemble Meowth, though Liepard's body is similar.
