You trigger a battle with any wild pokemon,lower its Hp down a middle,use an adrenaline orb and it will call an ally,hopefully.Each ally called han an higher chance of having good Ivs,having its Ha and being shiny.This will keep up as long as the original pokemon has PP left,but the allies can do this too.

As far as i'm aware only similar allies will do it - some pokemon summon different species so you need to get rid of those.

Some people have had their chains broken by having their original target Struggle itself to death and their special re-inforcement will never call for help.
