Why include the trainers in battle at all if you're going to do shit like this. Why include Wailord in the Alola dex if shit like this is gonna happen?
Having trainers visible in battle is a great idea, but it's clearly not ready to be in the main series. It murdered the framerate, I'm pretty sure its why triple battles got cut, and there's scale problems like with Wailord.
