Mega Pidgeot would be amazing as it's own Pokemon because it is pretty solid in battle. There are just better Megas as options.

Focus Blast or Hyper Voice/Tri Attack would be delicious. In my wildest dreams I picture Boomburst.

Frankly, it's pretty cool that it is as capable as it is with just Hurricane and Heat Wave. You know the movepool is sparse when even Smogon says Hyper Beam is an option, but M-Pidgeot manages to avoid being total garbage.

It got a weird move call Burn Up instead.
Burn Up does 130 damage and "consumes" the user's Fire type so it becomes typeless (or just one type in the case of pokemon like Moltres).

Roost doesn't make them outclassed though, they serve different purposes. Milotic's already had recover for a long time, and both have different stats and abilities.

Mantine's certainly good now, but I don't think any of them are outclassing each other. Vaporeon having no recovery kinds sucks though.

I don't think Galvantula got anything.
I guess you could run Z-Sticky Web over a Scarf to get the same speed until switching out without getting locked out of other moves, but then you lose the initial speed advantage anyways. And you'd probably run Sash anyways to ensure Sticky Web anyways.
