>ConsAlola is small, less towns than most games and routes are smaller.
Trials replace gyms but there's only 7 trials, making it smaller still
Cutscenes out the ass
Majority of trainers have 1 or 2 Pokemon
Both instances of infiltrating the evil team bases were incredibly short and easy
Due to Alola's smallness, the lack of postgame is even worse.
New chaining method is annoying (Unless you want to wait ages for Pokemon to call for help, you need to False Swipe them. After enough time they'll break your chain by Struggling to death)
Removal of triple and rotation battles
No National Dex, hidden behind a paywall. (I know $5 a year is nothing, but it's the principle.)
