It's been really hard for me, my girlfriend is picking Rowlet so naturally I get to pick from one of the others, I hated Popplio at first but I'm starting to like it more because Primarina Z move and the flail tail things going on, pretty dope

I've picked grass-type since first gen, just doing it out of tradition at this point. (Except 3rd because LIEK MUDKIPS meme, but then fell in love with Swampert)

Good taste, this is the first time I've picked grass. Decidueye is one of my favorite designs by far. Rowlet and Dartrix are cool too.

As far as in-game is concerned, Litten seems to be the easiest to start with. I chose Popplio though since I always favor water-types. One good thing is that you can find the Scald TM relatively early.
