Looking for information on a few locations that are inaccessible, despite being prominent on the map.
>Blue rectangle on Melemele, underneath the bridge right after the Meadow
Can't access it through the meadow, the cave in the meadow, Verdant Hill or surfing outside it.
>Lighthouse
Can access it through Diglett's Tunnel, but it is a flat door, and you can only get to it with Machoke, which is strange as there's nothing else to do there apart from some items on the ground.
>Golf Course
It's so large, and lots of golfers are in the resort, but you can't access it, despite the map showing you a path that leads from the Resort. Also at the end is an eclipse carved into the grass, which is odd.
>Tiny island in corner of map
Event island for Magearna, likely, as it's perfectly round, which suggests it's manmade, like Magearna.
>Giant pools left of the Western town on Akala Island
It clearly shows a cave entrance and path leading to a beach. Someone said it's likely Brooklet Hill, but I doubt it by that path leading from the cave.
That's all I can think of, but I'm sure there's more. If I had any faith in GF, I'd say it was potential for Post-Game stuff to be patched in or for events, but it likely won't be,except the Magearna Island.
Also looking for a map of the Desert, as there's a TM I can't find my way to, and has anyone worked out what Strange Souvenirs do yet?
