I'm into feet myself and I've seen my share of bad footfag art and stenchfag shit makes me cringe. Depiction matters, but I'll endure solefag shit because the worse that comes from it is bad perspective or uncanny valley details.

One can easily remember fondly what they liked about something even if the fetish dulls out. Resentment for a fetish might have more to do with the people or types of people tied to it than the fetish itself.
