>>29893351Dont listen to the troll talking about the range. The way the console actually works:
There are 5 major "parts" to it.
>TabletThis is the console itself. All the processing is done in there. No matter how you play it, it is a required part. Its basically a Nvidia Shield on steroids, with nintendo funding it.
>docking stationThis is basically the All-in-One charger for the whole system, as well as the "home" part of the console. It has a place to dock in the tablet, allowing it to charge and use a television as the screen instead of the tablet. If you plan to use the system as a home console and not a handheld, the tablet will probably spend its entire life inside this thing.
>Pro controllerPretty typical controller. Nothing special about it. Its used to play the games.
>+/- ControllersThese slide onto the tablet itself, on the left and right sides of it. They basically turn the tablet into a wiiu gamepad. They can be charged by docking the tablet with the controllers still attached to it. They can also be taken off and used wirelessly, one in each hand, in a setup similar to wiimote+nunchuck. No motion controls though, thank god. They can ALSO be used separately from each other for multiplayer, with each player getting one of the controllers, so instead of acting as one controller together, you get two mini controllers. They can ALSO be used with...
>+/- controller dock thing idk what the fuck its calledIts basically the pro controller, except its just a handle, with a wireless connector in it. You slide the +/- controllers on each side of it, and it forms a normal controller. I'm willing to bet it can also be plugged in to charge the whole thing, but that's just speculation on my part.
Using the tablet with the +/- controllers attached, it is entirely portable. The controllers can be used with it, for a experience like a typical handheld.
