Ok, hear me out, Legendary Pokemon are Legends because they've existed for thousands of years and have thus had legends made about them.

Ultra Beasts have only existed for a short time and have thus have no legends about them.

By the next game Ultra Beasts will be called Legends.

There is literally no definition for "Legendary" that fits Mewtwo and gen7 box legends WITHOUT including UBs, unless your definition is "only the mons I say can be legends get to be legends"

Uh, no. There doesn't need to be a definition. Mewtwo is one of the original legendaries, it goes there by default.

Ultra Beasts, on the other hand, are not called legendaries. Ergo, if one of the original legendaries is already breaking your fanon definition, it is always wrong.

I don't need to prove anything since the game says Mewtwo is a legendary and those other faggots are Ultra Beasts.

And we later find out in the game that UB just means from another dimension so they literally have nothing to do with legendaries besides Lunala/Solgaleo

In all honesty though, I'm willing to bet if we ever get to encounter the UBs natively, without them being altered by the wormholes, they will have a lower main stat and lose their ability.

UBs are the ones who a) survived the wormhole and b) were cloaked in its z energy.

They were thus either weaker or subject to mass selection at some point. Maybe a combination of both. That would explain their 570 BST, which is better than most third evos and lesser than most legendaries

Necrozma is an UB but it appeared in the pokeworld since a very long time.

Since Cosmog is actually an UB so the boxart legendaries are technically UBs.
I guess they could be seen as legends.
