I mean, I've got nothing against it, but why was it pushed so hard in the late 90s? It would often appear alongside other mascot-type Pokémon like Pikachu, the starters, Jigglypuff, etc. in all sorts of promotional products.
Does anyone remember this? It would be on cereals, and macaroni, pencils, etc. It was fucking everywhere, but why?
