>>29914135It's pretty obvious that Gamefreak wants to branch off of Pokemon. They've made more new IPs in the past 4 years then they had between 1990- and 2009.
They don't want to be known as "the Pokemon guys" or "the guys who are only alive because of Nintendo" Within these past 4 years, they made Harmano, Tembo, that Horse Solitare game and an early access game called Giga Wrecki because they know Nintendo and TPCi is probably trying to weed them out, so they need another successor so they don't immediately die off once Nintendo kicks them to the curb.
