I was doing this and realised we've had a lot less fully evolved non legendary dragons than I thought, even with a bunch of new forms in the past two Gens

I feel like Megas were a tacky way to do this. Would've much preferred fourth evolutions over Megas for most of the pokemon that got them.

I think Megas werent tacky, they just decided to go too far with the most of them. Like, They could have just made Mawile strong rather than give it the highest base attack in the franchise
