Yeah. The original IVs stay the same, but the stat now just pretends the pokemon has an IV of 31 in that stat when doing calculations.

And yes, PkHeX can set these hyper training flags on the pokemon's stats.

The whole Raichu thing was from the VGC winner Wolf dude or whatever. What Wolfman did was clone his Raichu he used to give away to people and he I guess thought it would be fun to make it be in a Cherrish Ball so it would feel like an actual event (but wasn't, it was him just handing them out himself) and obviously you can only do that if you edit it and Verlisishit went on a rampage shitting up a storm about how wolfman cheats, uses """""hacked""""" mons and doesn't spend the hours getting a perfectly IV/EV trained mon etc etc. Verlisishit is the personification of the people who won't shut up about how bad pokehex/pokesave/pokedit or whatever are.

My personal opinion, so long as they aren't giving their pokemon 255 EV's in all stats, who gives a flying fuck. It just saves you hours of time in the long run and the way I see it, there's nothing wrong with that. "Ooooooh he can't technically be in that ball!!" Like who fucking cares, it doesn't give you an edge over the other person it's purely aesthetic.

There are random elements. But 95% of a game is made on deliberate choices, mind games, and having answers to mitigate risks the opponent can throw against you. "Oh no my Draco missed and now I lost the game after making several bad plays leading to a position where I could only win by hitting this Draco" is very different than having the entire game from start to finish decided by a series of dice rolls. To think otherwise is fucking retarded and shows a lack of understanding of what a competitive game should be.

Aegislash is easily the most retarded ban in their history, it's a perfect example of scrubs wanting to ban something because it threatened their autopilot playstyle. Its balanced by low BP moves, low speed and only being able to use 3 real moves. A good Pokemon, but far from good enough to need a ban

Well how hacking in pokemon is different than, let's say, getting all the stuff you want in a MMO? Both takes time and are obtainable normally, but in one case it's goes significantly faster.

The reason this is unfair is simply time. One put the effort, the other didn't, as single player experience, i don't care about hacking, but not online, it's not very hard to grasp.

Pokemon had a very tedious system, and they try to change that, but it does not justify hacking noneless.

Also getting great pokemon, is giving the player the satisfaction of finally building his team, a feeling that you don't get or have diluted if you just get everything with no work.

I definitely see what you're saying and I respect your opinion. I just want you to know, for me personally, I intend to still "hack" my pokemon because I don't want to spend all of that time to reach the same point. I understand they're making it easier to achieve all of this in game and that's great but I can still save the time and that's what I intend to do. Also, again just speaking from my own perspective, but the experience and joy of team building isn't diluted or anything. I get my enjoyment from simply having the teams I want and battling itself. While I can see why others might enjoy that satisfaction feeling after putting in all of that time is on them, I get the same level of satisfaction obtaining what I want in a faster means.

For me this stems from my inner thoughts that we're all going to die some day whether we like it or not, meaning our time alive is very limited. So I'd rather just get to my destination faster as to enjoy the content sooner

King's Shield was what 'broke' it due to many tournament players feeling that games being decided by one player flipping a coin on whether to KS or attack on a given turn was unhealthy. I'd agree with them since I thought the KS "mindgames" were severely overrated and were the lowest hanging "omg I'm so good I predonked I'm so ebin" asspull plays. If King's Sheild were just a special protect that shifted stances it wouldn't be a problem since most other aspects of the mon were very very strong but not necessarily broken. Constraining but not broken. KS was the bullshit that pushed it over the edge. Oh and also Swords Dance, Shadow Ball, Flash Cannon, Sacred Sword, Iron Head, Shadow Sneak, Head Smash, hell even HP Ice were used pretty interchangeably depending on what your team needed. It was far from a one trick pony. And SubToxic Aegislash was pure cancer.

Getting warmer but we're still talking about stuff that was banned with good reason and you're still showing a huge lack of knowledge on the matter.
