Not sure if anyone knows this one yet, and this isn't a question, but I found out how to unlock more boxes(I think). I was able to unlock more by what would appear to be getting ALL the way to Red in the battle tree, though I lost against him so I don't think you need to beat him as long as you can reach him. Unlocked up to box 16.

You only need the cores to each it a move, each one giving it a different one. Aura Break or Power Construct, it doesn't matter.

Not that I know of personally, but I do know of something similar. There's friendship meals in the Festival Plaza where you can raise their friendship by "lowering their base stat". They cost FC to varying degrees, but they do in fact lower EVs.

It's how I made Ash Greninja not a mixed attacker.

Be careful. The move relearner isn't until the E4. Make sure your pikachu gets thunderbolt or you'll be fucked. His Z move also only works with thunderbolt.

You can get a thunderstone before the second kahuna

To wake up the IV checker, you have to catch enough pokémon for your PC to get double boxes. Dunno how many is required, but it happens without any notification, you go into the PC, and then the boxes are just there.

Talk to him, and he will add the judge feature to the Box system, which lets you see the screen in >>29930035

Yes, I unlocked it just about now.

Plaza is at level 15 or 16. Poké Pelago has two isles at the max level (but I doubt those have anything to do with it)

It's probably the dex, I guess.

I did, nothing changed. The only thing I can think of is he said something along the lines of "I'll grant you access to X, Y, and Z! Just for you Champion. Keep up the great work on [Insert Plaza Name Here]".

You need to have at least 60% of cells. You make a 50% first and then you can assemble a 10% with the remaining ones.

No. The only difference afaik is the lake and altar swap names. Sunne lake becomes moone lake etc. The only purpose is to get a cosmog.

Actually there's another small purpose to switching. It switches the day table, so if something is only catchable during the day/night you can go to the other universe to swap it so you can catch it.

So... Here's a check-up on what doesn't unlock the IV checker:
- Beating the Elite Four a second time
- Breeding Pokémon
- Showing him a Pokémon with 31 IVs everywhere
- Showing him a Pokémon with max EVs
- Doing fights in the Battle Tree
- Maxing your amount of PC boxes
- Finishing the UB sidequest
- Talking to him in the alternate universe
- Receiving Type: Null (just tried that one for the hell of it)

I did it not exactly the legal way. It's pretty fucking horrible and don't expect the shop rewards to get better over time (he still offers fucking 1star shops at lvl 100).

You get to rename/redesign your festival though at certain level. And on lvl 100 you unlock a gts message "I have festival plaza rank 100!"

My only 5star shops are a fortune teller and a ghost house thing... got a bunch of 4stars though

It's not pants on head retarded, there's just no Super Training. But you never did Super Training anyway.

It's the same as always, chain a bunch of KOs against specific Pokemon, except now they happen in the same battle, as they'll call for help at low HP.

Or you can leave them in the PC (PokePelago) and order them to train while you go to work/school/sleep.

Option 2 is pretty damn handy, as they'll train for however long you tell them to, and gain a specific amount of EVs per half hour.

thunderbolt is in the poni plains or what it's called (the area before the area with the many trainers on the way to the battle tree). When you enter from the south and walk up to the cliff ahead it is on the left side (need to crush some rocks with tauros and loop around some rocks)

I can see a LOT of people will be asking where this crystal is. I remember the big boulder but I doubt most players will, since you get strength really late in the game.

When other players visit your plaza you can copy their favorite shop into your own plaza.

When the game comes out multiple people are bound to get the really good shops like the 5 star EV/EXP ones, then that shit will spread like wildfire. It's like Friend Safaris all over again, except better because it multiplies and gets copied infinitely.
The system is designed so people share their shops, it doesn't work properly offline, it's not going to be that horrible at all.

Mareanie can be caught in the Melemele sea by fishing. You get the fishing rod on the second island. Look for ripples in the places where you can fish, try to find a Corsola, get it to low hp, and it will eventually summon a Mareanie.

It's found at levels 10-18

The "reflecting pools" might be fishing spots. They bubble when there's a better chance of catching something rare there.

There's a LOT of weirdly inaccessible places in Alola, especially that Golf Course. Also the later islands love to put loading screens to teleport you from place to place, going as far as teleporting you from the entrance to the exit of an entire volcano, with nothing inside.

I won't say my thoughts on this matter because I already did for the last 3 days on /vp/, but needless to say I don't want this to go unnoticed or unpunished, and reviewers are all ignoring how unfinished the region feels past the first island.

What should I be aware of when it comes to making sure I don't get banned? So far I'm making sure the pokemons only know the moves that are possible to get in the game (either through lvls or TM) and then I input accurate locations and levels for where I met them.

Bounsweet is pretty hard to find in the grass trial area. They only appear in certain patches of grass. If you can't find one after a while, Someone in a pokecenter on a nearby route will trade you one that you can breed.
