-You can still easily be overlevelled if you grind just slightly. Reminder that this isn't intensive grinding, this is 'let's have fun with my new Pokemon' grinding.
-Don't agree with the OST. The songs aren't bad, but they're not amazing. The biggest problem with the OST is how much repetitive BGM there is and the fact that the trainer class intro songs have been removed is unacceptable. Also, I'm not really bothered about Red like a lot of people are, but not using his battle theme or even a remixed version is unacceptable.
-There were definitely too many cutscenes, I don't think there can be any argument about that unless you're comparing the game to Metal Gear Solid and I found the story to be lackluster at best. The problem mainly hinges on the fact that if you're not interested in Lillie, the story is basically worthless and won't grip you at all.
-The difference between the Battle Tree and Maison is negligible really, the tag matches would have been a plus if the choice of partners wasn't so random and poor. This isn't really a feature that I'm interested in, but even I had a 'Wow..' moment when I saw the choices of partner.
Don't get me wrong, I don't think they're 'bad' games that deserve to be called bad, but I don't think they're better than X/Y. They suffer from the same problems X/Y had and then some. As for ORAS, I never liked it but then I'm biased against Gen 3 so it'd be unfair to judge. I'd say it's about on-par with ORAS.
