Where does the pokedex get its info? It can't be from the humans, since no ones know about the UBs, but yet they have a detailed dex entry.

the pokedex is a high tech encylopedia that automarically fills in data on captured pokemon. It does the studying for you

It's a time paradox for gameplay purposes.
